Outreach
Just like every other dollar given to the work of Elevation Church, we are setting aside 12% of all Kingdom Come gifts for outreach. We expanded some of our local partnerships this past Christmas season and also are taking our efforts global. We are excited to continue our partnership with Samaritan's Purse. Below is a brief summary of where our Kingdom Come outreach dollars will go.
International Relief
- Uganda Vulnerable Children's Project - Kampala, Uganda - $25,000 Impact: Your generosity will provide 200 Families or 1,200 people holistic training for a greater capacity to meet their own needs and subsequently improve their quality of life through these Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) partners.
- Uganda Good Shepherd's Fold - $35,000 Impact: Your generosity will provide over 1500 children proper medical care for one year.
- African Achungo Children's Center - $40,000 Impact: Your generosity will provide 1 meal a day to 200 orphans for one year; 73,000 meals. This center doubles as a school and a home. Most of the children only eat one meal a day due to lack of sufficient funds.
- HIV Testing Site - Lira, Uganda - $75,000 Impact: Your generosity is changing the way HIV testing is done in Uganda. Tens of thousands of people will now have the opportunity to be tested for HIV. Through this testing site people infected will now be able to face whatever comes at them through HIV with dignity.
- Samaritan's Purse - African Greater Life Mission - $5,000 Impact: Your generosity will provide The Kibuli Miracle Center Church with a much needed restroom facility. This facility will make a great change in the community.
Local Outreach
Locally, we will continue to partner with organizations already having a great impact in our city. This past Christmas, we focused on two of our outreach partners specifically:
- Crisis Assistance Ministry - $40,000 Impact: Through your generosity Crisis will keep the heat and power on for over 660 hurting families during the cold winter season.
- Right Moves For Youth - $30,000 Impact: Your generosity will enable over 450 at-risk kids to serve in the community, teaching them to give back through Right Moves for Youth.
